As usual, AJ Strata at the Strata-Sphere is all over the latest news regarding Able Danger. Go over and read all he has to say about the latest revelations.

He thinks, and I agree, that the internal squabbles between various intelligence agencies is about to come out into the open. In fact, AJ suspects that this sudden flurry of new information may be related to the Plame investigation.

Since the coordination of intelligence in the age of terrorism is absolutely essential for national security, it is incredibly important that we understand the origins and consequences of these intragovernment spats and power plays that seem to continually interfere with rational and competent intelligence gathering.

This story is just slowly getting more and more interesting. There are powerful forces at work here trying to hold it back. From that alone we can estimate its importance.
