Red Adair, A Real Professional

I first heard about Red Adair when I lived in Houston. He was the Paul Bunyan of firefighting, a real American legend. My favorite quote from him:

"If you think its expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur."
(said when asked about his fees for extinguishing oil-well fires after the Gulf War)
