It was probably just another gaffe, but the unconscious is a strange thing and often has its own way, despite all attempts to control it:
Let's face it. It was a really really bad gaffe and certainly lends credence to the whispers and insinuations that have stalked the Messiah throughout this campaign. No, he didn't admit to being a Muslim; but it will make people wonder afresh where his real loyalties lie.
