My superstar goalkeeper daughter is playing in a soccer tournament this weekend, so we are in lovely Petoskey , Michigan. I have brought my trusty laptop along...but blogging will be fairly light today because of soccer games and sightseeing.
The Carnival will be up as always on Sunday morning; and things will be back to quasi-normality on Monday.
Petoskey is a small resort town nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan's Little Traverse Bay, and is probably best known for the unusual stone that can be found along the beaches of both Lake Michigan and Lake Huron. Not surprisingly it's called a "Petoskey Stone".
UPDATE: Well the team won both games today (1-0, 4-2) and if they win tomorrow morning they will go to the finals tomorrow afternoon. Wahhh-hoooo.
