But, for the benefit of all intelligent and discerning listeners; as well as for the annoyance of the the reality-challenged community, this week's Sanity Squad Podcast posted at Pajamas Media Politics Central will bring clarity and psychological insight to The Game, and put all the violence, mayhem and posturing into context and focus.
In this podcast we analyze several key pieces in motion on the chessboard of the Middle East: specifically, the pieces battling it out in Lebanon; and Vladimir Putin, who is making moves that seem to support the Islamists against the West. Now why would Putin do a thing like that, do you suppose?
Violent clashes between the Lebanese government and al-Qaeda-affiliated terrorists in Palestinian refugee camps have left many civilians dead in Lebanon. But the mainstream media has been relatively silent about this fierce Arab/Arab violence compared to the fuss made whenever Israel or the West is involved. The Squad discusses why this is so, what’s behind the battles, and whether Vladimir Putin means what he says when he threatens to point his nuclear weapons at Europe.
What is the meaning of what is happening in Lebanon and why are the Palestinians nurturning al-Qaeda terrorists in their midst? What are the moves Iran and Syria are making behind the cover of the conflict, and what are their intentions for Lebanon? And, why is the President of Russia standing up for Iran and threatening Europe?
Believe it or not (and you'd never be able to figure this out from reading the MSM) but there is a bizarre logic to the seemingly endless insanity and violence that is taking place in the Middle East and rippling out into the rest of the world. All will be made clear: and it is likely that the average listener will have his or her IQ raised by several points--simply by tuning in and starting to think for themselves--instead of depending on the clueless MSM for insight and analysis.
Join Siggy, Neo-neocon, Shrinkwrapped and I as we try to make sense of the events that are playing out right now; and explain why the media can't quite figure out what's happening because they don't know how to understand--let alone spin-- the news when they can't cast America or Israel as the "bad guys".
