THERE IS NO MORAL EQUIVALENCE BETWEEN FREEDOM AND TYRANNY

Nothing in Obama's UN speech reassured me that he had any real committment to freedom of speech. It was just more of the same glib platitudes and postmodern moral equivalency that seems to come smoothly out of the President's mouth on a regular basis.

Obama's actions speak louder than his words:

As for his assertion that, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam", I find that sentiment to be extremely curious. The prophet of Islam and his minions represent the single greatest force in the world today pushing for tyranny and repression. I intend to slander them wholeheartedly, enthusiastically and freely, whenever I can.

On a different and more positive note, just a short distance away from the UN at about the same time that Obama was pontificating, Mitt Romney also gave a speech. It was, unfortunately, under-reported, since most journalists are easily awed by the oratory manipulations of O. But it is worth listening to if you have a few minutes:

Veritable genius (my definition only) BHO let loose a speech at the evil UN. I want to suggest what the speech is about and that is the Megalomaniacal belief that BHO believes that he is really capable of uniting Islam to take the world over.

= = = = =

But of course, under American law, THE TRUTH cannot possibly be "slander".

Our Constitutional Law Professor who plays 3-D chess (20 moves ahead) in his mind obviously meant to send us a signal:

"CARRY ON WITH THE FREE SPEECH, FOLKS!"

"The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam" Barack Obama, speech at the UN

'Extremely curious' only applies if, out of appeasement, he meant it as a platitude. Which would mean that he's in complete denial as to the actual threat Islam presents to western democracies.

If however, it revealed his actual stand on the issue of Islam, it is the assertion of a traitor.

"Mitt Romney also gave a speech. It was, unfortunately, under-reported, since most journalists are easily awed by the oratory manipulations of O."

Now you're in denial or being satirical. The MSM is the enthusiastic and completely unethical propaganda organ for the left. They have betrayed the "forth estate's" raison de etre and have betrayed the trust of the American people.
