I've Lost My Mind !
Good Grief! I never realized that John Edwards is a psychiatrist! And all this time I thought he was a lawyer...or an idiot? (I can never remember which. Ah well, doesn't make much difference, I guess).
According to Drudge, the esteemed psychiatrist John Edwards is diagnosing again: "Edwards Says Bush 'In Denial'...:
"It fell to Edwards to respond to Bush's attack on the four-term Massachusetts senator, and he reprised some of the themes he had employed in his debate with the vice president.
Bush is 'completely out of touch with reality' about the Iraq war and the economy, Edwards said during a campaign stop in West Palm Beach, Fla. 'He won't acknowledge the mess in Iraq. All you have to do is turn your television on,' the North Carolina senator added."
Who would have thought the trial lawyer/sometime Senator is also a licensed psychiatrist? I must have missed his medical school credentials somewhere. Don't worry though; I doubt "Dr." Kerry will be any competition for Dr. Sanity.
You're the trained and experienced psychiatrist -- tell us, what kind of psychiatric problems would lead a politician to have delusions of being a physician of mental health? How would you treat such an individual were he to be presented to you as a patient? Inquiring minds want to know. ;) ;) ;)
