OH, PLEASE

If hate has been mainstreamed, let's go back to the beginning and take a brief glimpse at the respectful and civil behavior that Democrats displayed toward the POTUS during the previous eight years:

I’d take the hyperventilating with a wee more seriousness if it didn’t come from the same crowd who cheered the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes at Bush in a 2008 press conference.

Civil behavior is not the hallmark of any politician from any party these days. I seem to recall a certain Senate leader calling Bush a liar-- and he never even bothered to apologize or retract his statement. Of course when Democrats accuse Republicans of lying it is obviously true, no questions asked or civility questioned.

K-Lo ends her discussion of this ridiculous assertion by Katrina vanden Heuvel by saying:

And if talking about lying liars who bear false witness is despicable, she might want to ask the president to quit it too.

Not to mention such stalwarts of civil discourse as Michael Moore.
